Shop with Me September Edit
Hey y’all! I hope you’re having a great week. I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping, styling and playing with old and new brands that I love. I thought it would be fun to introduce them to you, along with my styling inspo for the late summer and early fall months! What I’ve been loving, what’s in my cart, and patterns/silhouettes I’m into!
Accessories
I think everyone can agree that gold jewelry is back and here to stay, but I love the trend and have found some really affordable options lately! Other than being really cute, these are a great way to try a new style without paying too much if you don’t love it. I’m really loving chunky chains, chic over-sized earrings and classic bangles.
BAGS
Y’all know I loveee a good handbag and I’ve found some really cute ones, while also making some fun ones this summer as a hobby! Pretty much anything with a monogram I think is cute, but I really like this new Barrington Gifts style linked below. You can customize it with any pattern and colors you like how I did in the first picture! The straw bag is one that I painted this summer as a project and loved how it turned out! If you’re interested in one just let me know and I can make one for you too!
I also have loved this pearl bag that Kollin gifted me for my birthday this year. It’s so chic and feminine and I can’t wait to use it more when things settle back down.
Prints
I’m pretty basic when it comes to colors and patterns I wear, but this summer I’ve loved exploring more patterns and fun combinations. Some that I’m loving are leopard (nothing new there), baroque patterns and unique vintage florals. When trying a new pattern I like to use them in ways that are low risk or something that isn’t a staple in closet right away. For example, a bathing suit, headband or fun affordable top.
Black and White Base Colors
I’ve been really into styling black and white together lately. While this isn’t some new or revolutionary styling trick, I’ve loved how the outfits have turned out. Starting with black or white or tan as your base and then adding in the other colors is the easiest way to start. For example, a pair of white trousers and a black bodysuit. An all black outfit with a touch of tan or cognac in the accessories or shoes. One of my favorite purchases this year has been this atelier sweatshirt from H&M.
Shoes
There have been many shoe sales this year with Covid happening and retail suffering, so let’s just say I took advantage of those sales and found some of my favorite shoes! I’ve been all about comfort and these Sam Edelman mules are the perfect mix of comfort and chicness.
